Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Shop Frame Technician to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing, repairing, and restoring vehicle frames and structural components to ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive structural repair, sheet metal fabrication, and welding techniques will be vital in delivering top-tier auto body repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive welding equipment and fabrication tools in a fast-paced, energetic environment committed to excellence. Duties Perform precise automotive frame repairs using MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair techniques to restore vehicle integrity. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive body refinishing equipment to remove dents, straighten frames, and prepare surfaces for painting or assembly. Fabricate and modify sheet metal components to match original specifications or custom requirements through fabrication repair techniques. Conduct auto restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structural parts, ensuring adherence to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, and other structural components with attention to detail and quality. Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques including sanding, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Collaborate with the auto body repair team on vehicle maintenance tasks and auto estimating processes while providing excellent customer service throughout the repair process. Experience Previous dealership experience or hands-on work in an automotive body shop is highly preferred. Proven expertise in MIG welding, automotive welding equipment operation, and fabrication repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures, sheet metal work, and auto restoration processes. Experience working with automotive parts installation, auto glass replacement, and auto body refinishing. Familiarity with automotive dent repair, sanding tools, heavy lifting techniques, and the use of power tools for collision repairs. Knowledge of automotive cosmetic repair procedures including auto painting and detailing to deliver high-quality results. Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards at all times. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
