Job Description

Conway Collision is seeking an auto body technician to join our team! We offer a 65,000 square foot air conditioned/heated facility with every tool you could ask for. Responsibilities & Expectations Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth repair process Complete disassembly of damaged vehicles, map and identify damages, and coordinate with estimator to complete an accurate estimate via CCC One. Ability to follow estimate outlines and understand standard verbiage Understand and follow OEM repair guidelines for approved procedures. Repair and/or replace Damaged Steel, aluminum and plastic panels using various tooling and techniques Mix and apply Primer to repaired panel Facilitate repaired vehicles into paint department Reassemble vehicles ensuring proper fitment and operation of all components. Willingness to learn and adapt Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of collision repair experience Valid driver's license Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong diagnostic and repair skills Commitment to precision, quality, and efficiency Preferred skills I-car certifications Aluminum repair experience Welding experience Frame measuring knowledge Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Frequent physical activity such as kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping, lifting above shoulders is a part of daily activity as well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting objects over 50 pounds. Must be able to push/pull parts carts and cars with assistance.
Working environment consists of:
Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, along with high levels of noise. Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment.
