  • Abbeville/Greenwood, SC Job Summary Lakelands Auto Sales is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Reassembly Technician to join our growing team.
This position focuses on reassembling vehicles after paint and body repairs have been completed. The ideal candidate will take pride in quality workmanship, understand vehicle fit and finish, and be able to efficiently install body panels, trim, lights, bumpers, moldings, interiors, and accessories while ensuring the finished product meets our quality standards. Responsibilities Reassemble vehicles following paint and body repairs Install bumpers, grilles, headlights, taillights, mirrors, moldings, trim pieces, and body panels Remove and reinstall interior components as needed Align panels, doors, hoods, and liftgates for proper fit and finish Diagnose and correct rattles, fitment issues, and cosmetic defects Perform final quality inspections before vehicle delivery Maintain a clean and organized work area Work closely with painters, body technicians, and management to ensure timely completion of repairs Qualifications Previous auto body, collision repair, mechanical, or vehicle reassembly experience preferred Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic Valid driver's license Preferred Experience Collision repair shop experience Auto body technician experience Vehicle disassembly and reassembly Mechanical aptitude Experience with modern vehicle electronics, sensors, and trim components Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full-time position Monday-Friday schedule Stable year-round work Opportunity for advancement Supportive team environment About Us Lakelands Auto Sales has been serving the Lakelands area for years and is committed to delivering quality vehicles and exceptional customer service.
