Job Description
Body Shop Technician I performs repairs on class 8 equipment. Responsibilities Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level. Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to understand, communicate, read, and write the English language. Must have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis to mount tires. Must have physical ability to climb, bend and stoop. Must have physical ability to work while on feet at all times, ability to stand for long periods of time. Must have tools to perform skills for this level.
