In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and automotive structural repair will ensure that each vehicle is returned to the highest standards of safety and aesthetics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art automotive repair equipment and contribute to exceptional customer satisfaction through meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment to restore vehicles' appearance and structural integrity. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs, auto painting, auto restoration, and refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim, and other components with precision. Apply fabrication repair techniques for custom repairs or modifications using sheet metal fabrication skills. Use auto estimating software to assess damages accurately and determine necessary repairs. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical inspections, heavy lifting, and general assembly work as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all repair processes. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or collision center environment. Strong background in auto body repair, including welding (MIG welding preferred), sheet metal work, automotive structural repair, and auto restoration. Hands-on experience with automotive welding equipment, airless paint spraying, sanding tools, and detailing techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and parts installation enhances overall repair quality. Familiarity with auto estimating procedures and working with automotive parts catalogs is advantageous. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and automotive cosmetic repair tools efficiently. Prior experience with auto painting, auto refinishing, auto glass replacement, and automotive welding repair techniques is highly desirable.
