Complete Customs is a well-established independent collision and custom shop located in McKinney, Texas. With more than 15 years in business, we have built a strong reputation for quality work, attention to detail, and a shop culture that respects skilled technicians. We are looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician / Collision Repair Technician to join our team. This position is a good fit for someone who takes pride in clean repairs, proper fitment, quality bodywork, and working on a mix of modern vehicles, custom projects, classics, and unique builds. This is not a high-pressure production-line or primarily heavy structural repair position. Our focus is on quality repairs, clean workmanship, clear communication, and protecting the reputation we have built. Responsibilities The Auto Body Technician will perform quality body repairs and help move vehicles through the repair process efficiently and correctly.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Perform auto body repairs on a variety of vehicles Complete cosmetic collision repairs and general bodywork Repair dents, dings, and damaged panels Perform panel replacement, panel alignment, and gap fitment Complete filler work, sanding, blocking, and repair preparation Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed Remove and install bumpers, trim, lights, moldings, mirrors, handles, and related parts Identify additional damage or parts needs and communicate them to management Work with the painter, estimator, and other technicians to maintain production flow Prepare vehicles and panels properly for refinishing Follow repair procedures and shop quality standards Protect customer vehicles while they are in our care Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have: Previous professional auto body or collision repair experience Working knowledge of cosmetic collision repair, body repair, dent repair, and panel repair Experience with panel alignment, filler work, sanding, blocking, and repair preparation Ability to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components correctly Ability to work independently and manage assigned repairs efficiently A complete set of personal technician tools required for the position Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Dependable attendance and availability to work the full-time schedule Ability to communicate additional damage, parts needs, and repair concerns clearly Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of experience as an Auto Body Technician or Collision Repair Technician Experience with panel replacement and advanced panel fitment Experience using CCC ONE I-CAR or ASE certifications Certifications are welcome but are not required. We are looking for someone who can be trusted to produce quality work, communicate honestly, and keep vehicles moving without cutting corners. Pay & Schedule Full-time, hourly position Hourly pay based on experience and demonstrated skill level Production or efficiency bonuses may be available Overtime opportunities may be available based on workload Stable weekday schedule
Schedule:
