Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Collision Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition using repair techniques and automotive welding equipment. Your expertise will ensure high-quality auto body repairs contributing to customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to precision craftsmanship. Duties Perform collision repairs on vehicles, including structural realignment, sheet metal work, and auto body restoration using hand tools and power tools. Utilize MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques to restore vehicles accurately. Install automotive parts such as bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision. Use auto estimating software to assess damage and determine necessary repairs while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Apply automotive repair techniques and sheet metal fabrication skills to restore vehicle aesthetics and structural integrity. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to support overall repair processes and ensure optimal vehicle performance post-repair. Experience Proven experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto restoration, and parts installation processes. Familiarity with auto body repair procedures including sanding tools and automotive cosmetic repair. Skilled in working with hand tools, power tools, sheet metal work, and heavy lifting to complete repairs efficiently.
