management@txlonestarcollision.com Position Title Auto Body Painter Position Summary TX Lone Star Collision is seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our team in San Angelo, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive refinishing, surface preparation, color matching, and paint application. This position requires attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced collision repair environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sand and prepare vehicle surfaces for painting. Mask vehicles and repair areas to protect surrounding surfaces. Mix and match paint colors according to manufacturer specifications. Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat finishes. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain painting equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition. Follow all shop safety procedures and environmental regulations. Collaborate with technicians and management to ensure timely completion of repairs. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Minimum of 5 years of automotive painting experience required. Experience with collision repair and refinishing processes preferred. Knowledge of paint mixing systems and application techniques. Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of automotive paint products, materials, and equipment. Ability to manage workload and meet production deadlines. Commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Compensation
Salary/Wage:
Negotiable based on experience Benefits 5 days paid vacation after one year of employment Training No training provided; applicants must possess the required experience.
