Job Description

Collision Repair Technician
  • Help Launch Our New Commercial Fleet Collision Division Centurion Fleet
  • Greater Salt Lake City Area Do you love collision repair and have 7+ years turning damaged vehicles back into safe, road-ready assets?
Are you ready to grow your skills, income, and impact at a proactive mobile fleet services company where your expertise will shape an entire new division? At Centurion Fleet, we deliver Precision Fleet Care, Delivered On-Site, Engineered for Zero Downtime. We're expanding beyond our successful on-site windshield inspections, repairs, and visual health assessments into full commercial collision repair for light
  • to medium-duty fleets (delivery vans, service trucks, box trucks, and utility vehicles).
As our first Collision Repair Technician, you'll be the cornerstone of this new division—performing high-quality repairs while helping design shop workflows, select equipment, and build processes that keep fleet operations moving without interruption. Your Responsibilities as a Collision Repair Technician at Centurion Fleet You'll be a vital player in our proactive fleet care model, combining top-tier craftsmanship with customer-focused service for commercial operators who can't afford downtime. Here's what you'll do:
  • Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs on commercial fleet vehicles to OEM standards.
  • Handle frame straightening, panel replacement, welding, dent repair, refinishing, and paint matching (steel and aluminum).
  • Conduct thorough damage assessments and contribute to accurate estimates.
  • Integrate with our mobile inspection team—identifying collision-related issues during on-site visits and resolving them efficiently.
  • Deliver photo-documented, audit-ready repairs with clear reporting for fleet managers.
  • Help set up and optimize the new collision shop: recommend tools/equipment, establish workflows, and support division growth.
  • Provide exceptional service to fleet operations, safety, and compliance teams—explaining repairs and preventing future issues.
Here's What You Need to Succeed as a Collision Repair Technician at Centurion Fleet We value craftsmanship, reliability, and a proactive mindset that aligns with our brand voice: professional, preventive, efficient, and transparent.
Our core values are:
We're Safe, We Care, We're Capable and We're Driven. These values are make us who we are and you need to be in alignment with them to succeed here.
  • 7+ years of hands-on collision repair experience (structural/non-structural, welding (steel & aluminum), refinishing and paint).
  • Proven ability to deliver quality repairs the first time while minimizing vehicle downtime.
  • Experience with commercial/light-duty fleet vehicles is strongly preferred.
  • ASE Collision Repair & Refinish certifications (B2-B5 preferred; Master status a plus).
  • I-CAR training or ProLevel certification (or willingness to complete quickly).
  • Welding certifications and strong knowledge of modern materials/ADAS considerations.
  • Ability to efficiently work on aluminum and repair rather than replace.
  • Eye for perfection and attention to detail—no "good enough" mindset.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Comfort with digital tools, photo reporting, and mobile technology.
  • Leadership potential—prior lead/supervisory experience or desire to help manage a growing division is a big advantage. This Job Is NOT For You If…
  • You prefer reactive "drop-off and forget" shop work over proactive fleet solutions.
  • You're okay cutting corners on safety, quality, or documentation—our fleet customers (logistics, contractors, municipal, rental) demand audit-ready results.
  • You're not excited about helping build something new from the ground up.
Here's How We Take Care of Our Employees We invest in our team the same way we protect fleets: with predictability, growth, and respect for your time and expertise. One of our core values is We Care. We mean it. We care about our people, and we want to see them grow and succeed, even if that means moving on to bigger and better things outside of our company!
  • Competitive pay: $28
  • 35/hour (or equivalent flat-rate structure) depending on experience and production.
  • Clear path to Division Manager role with leadership responsibilities and growth-based compensation.
  • Paid training (ASE/I-CAR refreshers), and certification support.
  • Benefits package include health coverage, PTO, and paid holidays.
  • Flexible scheduling that respects our "zero downtime" commitment to customers.
At Centurion Fleet, you'll be valued as a trusted advisor whose work directly reduces fleet downtime, lowers long-term costs, and improves safety. Join us as we scale from mobile glass, mechanical repair and inspections into a full preventive + collision solution for commercial fleets in the Salt Lake City region and beyond.
