In this energetic role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of vehicles, ensuring each one meets our rigorous standards for appearance and durability. Your skills in surface preparation, painting techniques, and auto restoration will help us deliver exceptional results and elevate customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear finishes using conventional spray guns and airless paint sprayers with precision. Perform auto body repairs such as filling dents, sanding rough spots, and restoring damaged panels to pristine condition. Utilize welding and mechanical knowledge to assist with minor repairs or component replacements as needed. Conduct auto glass replacements and assist with auto restoration projects to bring vehicles back to showroom quality. Use power tools like grinders and buffing machines for surface finishing, polishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless look. Follow safety protocols by wearing respiratory protection and handling paints and chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in auto body painting within a dealership or collision repair environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive surface preparation, sanding, masking, and painting techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, grinders, buffing equipment, and spray guns for automotive refinishing. Mechanical aptitude with experience in auto body repair, auto restoration, or vehicle maintenance. Ability to operate welding equipment and understand automotive mechanical systems is a plus. Familiarity with automotive estimating processes and heavy lifting requirements for handling vehicle parts.
