Responsibilities:
- Assess and estimate the cost of repairs for damaged vehicles
- Inspect vehicles to identify necessary repairs and replacements
- Provide accurate and detailed repair estimates to customers and insurance companies
- Collaborate with technicians and other staff to ensure timely and efficient repairs
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Handle cash transactions related to customer payments
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair, brake repair, suspension, shocks, struts, transmission, oil change, air brakes, and wheel alignment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating repair costs
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, insurance companies, and technicians
