Your skills in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will be essential to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools and power tools. Utilize MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to restore vehicle structures accurately. Conduct sanding, sanding tools, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Apply auto restoration techniques such as soldering, fabrication repair methods, and auto painting with airless paint spraying equipment. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including mechanical repairs, assembly, and auto glass installation to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Use auto estimating software to assess damage scope and prepare repair estimates for customer approval. Lift heavy parts safely during repairs while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role. Dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Proficiency with MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and familiarity with sheet metal work. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting equipment. Knowledge of auto restoration processes including auto glass replacement and detailing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a team environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly.
