Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Auto Body Paint Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles after repairs, ensuring a flawless appearance that meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original condition, enhancing both their aesthetic appeal and value. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint using airless spray guns, power tools, and hand tools with precision and attention to detail. Perform auto body repairs such as filling dents, smoothing surfaces, and aligning panels before painting. Use buffing machines and detailing techniques to achieve a smooth, glossy finish on painted surfaces. Conduct auto glass replacements or repairs as needed during the restoration process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including minor mechanical repairs and auto estimating when required. Qualifications Previous dealership or auto body shop experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of auto body repair, auto painting techniques, and vehicle maintenance. Proficiency with welding, buffing, airless paint spraying, and the use of power tools. Familiarity with auto glass installation and detailing processes. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in auto restoration is a plus. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physical tasks efficiently.
