Auto Body Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced repair techniques, precise craftsmanship, and a keen eye for detail. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and aesthetics. Responsibilities Diagnose and assess vehicle damage accurately to determine necessary repairs and estimate timeframes. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged metal components. Remove and install auto glass with precision, ensuring proper sealing and alignment. Carry out vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work as needed. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers about the scope of work and estimated completion times. Qualifications Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, and auto painting techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body equipment. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, auto restoration processes, and automotive repair standards.
