Job Description

Overview Join our team as an Auto Body Technician and bring your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic restoration to life! This is a true start-to-finish technician position , where you will be responsible for managing the complete repair process. From disassembly through structural and cosmetic repairs, reassembly, welding, sanding, painting and final quality inspection. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will ensure every vehicle receives top-quality repairs, from minor dents to major collision damage. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs, including sheet metal fabrication, welding repair, and auto body restoration using MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment Conduct auto painting and refinishing utilizing airless paint spraying techniques and sanding tools for a flawless finish Repair automotive dents, install auto glass, and handle automotive cosmetic repairs with precision and attention to detail Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, parts installation, and heavy lifting tasks required during vehicle repair processes Execute automotive parts installation and perform vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance post-repair Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards throughout all repair procedures Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in auto body repair and structural work Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication techniques, and using automotive welding equipment Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto repair processes, and automotive parts installation Familiarity with sheet metal work, sanding tools, auto painting methods including airless paint spraying, and automotive cosmetic repairs Experience working as an automotive body technician with proficiency in auto estimating and customer service interactions Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent communication skills to ensure high-quality repairs that meet customer expectations We believe the best repairs happen when one skilled technician takes ownership of the vehicle from beginning to end. Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
