Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged parts efficiently. Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify necessary repairs, estimate parts and labor, and communicate findings clearly with customers or estimators. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto alignment, and detailing to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, auto painting, and auto restoration projects. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and auto glass installation processes. Knowledge of auto estimating procedures and customer service principles is advantageous. Experience working with automotive parts such as sheet metal components, vehicle frames, and auto glass is essential.
