Job Description

Join Dryve Automotive - San Diegos newest mobile automotive repair dispatch & logistics platform. We connect customers with skilled, independent mobile mechanics for on-demand automotive repairs and maintenance. We are looking for a part-time, weekends-only mobile mechanic to join our growing network of independent providers. This is an opportunity to earn $50-$70 per flat-rate hour sold , with the potential to grow into full-time work as demand increases. You will remain an independent contractor (1099), setting your availability, providing your own tools, and maintaining full control over how you perform your work. Dryve handles scheduling, dispatch, customer support, and payment processing — you focus on quality repairs.
Responsibilities:
Travel to customer locations to perform mobile automotive repairs and maintenance. Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and professionally. Provide accurate estimates and secure customer authorizations before performing work. Return all parts subject to core charges within required timeframes. Maintain excellent communication and represent Dryve Automotive with professionalism. Ensure compliance with the California Motor Vehicle Repair Act .
What We Offer:
$50-$70 per flat-rate hour sold (weekly payments). Part-time weekends to start, with opportunity to expand hours. Dispatch and customer support handled by Dryve - no need to find your own clients.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of professional automotive repair experience. Must have your own tools and reliable transportation. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently. ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

$50-$70+ per flat-rate labor hour sold Weekly settlements via direct deposit
