  • Build the Future of Self-Driving Vehicles Manufacturing Technician | Autonomous Vehicles 📍 San Francisco, CA
  • Onsite 💰 $34
  • 48/hour, depending on level 🕐 Full-Time W2 Contract | Ongoing Are you an automotive technician, mechanic, vehicle electronics installer, or hands-on car enthusiast ready to work on something beyond traditional repair?
Our client, an innovative autonomous vehicle company, is hiring Manufacturing Technicians to help transform production vehicles into advanced autonomous vehicle platforms. Instead of spending your day doing routine maintenance, you'll work hands-on with vehicles—installing hardware, routing wiring harnesses, mounting components, connecting electrical systems, and making sure every installation is completed correctly. 🚗 What You'll Do Remove and reinstall vehicle trim and interior components Install sensors, brackets, mounts, and other vehicle hardware Route and secure wiring harnesses Connect low-voltage electrical components Use hand and power tools for vehicle installations Perform installation and quality checks Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues Follow detailed work instructions and installation procedures Document completed work accurately 🔎 We're Especially Interested in People From Independent automotive repair shops Dealership or specialty automotive shops Automotive audio, stereo, or electronics installation Vehicle upfitting or modification Automotive trade schools EV or autonomous vehicle environments Aerospace or aviation technician/assembly backgrounds Military vehicle or aviation maintenance Love working on project cars, computers, electronics, or other hands-on technical projects? We want to hear about that too. 💰 Pay Levels S2 — $34/hour Typically 1-3 years of general work experience with up to 2 years of relevant domain experience. S3 — $40/hour Typically 3-5 years of general experience with 1-3 years of relevant domain experience. S4 — $45
  • 48/hour Reserved for exceptional senior/master automotive technicians with 5+ years of experience, particularly technicians currently working at dealerships or independent repair shops.
Final leveling and pay are determined by our client based on experience and onsite interview performance. Offered rates are not negotiable. 🕐
Schedule Monday-Friday AM Shift:
6:00 AM-2:30
PM PM Shift:
2:00 PM-10:30 PM Possible weekend shifts This position is onsite in San Francisco near Civic Center . ⚡ You Could Be a Great Fit If You...
