Sheet Metal Hardware Installer - Training Provided Experience is not required; training will be provided. Applicants with sheet-metal or hardware installation experience may qualify for higher starting pay. A hands-on skills test may be required to verify experience and determine starting pay. Job Summary 7 Metals Manufacturing is looking for a dependable Sheet Metal Hardware Installer to join our production team. This position installs PEM nuts, studs, standoffs, rivet nuts, helicoils, and other hardware into sheet-metal and machined parts. Responsibilities Install PEM nuts, studs, standoffs, rivet nuts, helicoils, and other hardware. Operate hardware insertion presses and basic hand tools. Follow work orders, drawings, and hardware instructions. Select the correct hardware by size, type, and part number. Verify hardware location, orientation, and proper installation. Inspect completed parts for loose, damaged, missing, or incorrectly installed hardware. Use basic measuring and inspection tools. Count parts and record completed quantities. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety and quality procedures. Assist with deburring, assembly, and other production tasks as needed. Qualifications No previous experience required; training is provided. Manufacturing, sheet-metal, PEM hardware, or hardware press experience is preferred. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work. Able to stand for extended periods. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
