Job Description

Job Summary:
Waldoch Crafts is seeking a full-time Luxury Van Technician to build, install, and service premium luxury conversion vans. This position is ideal for an experienced technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and interior installation skills who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The role includes working on custom van interiors, electrical systems, cabinetry, accessories, plumbing, suspension components, and other vehicle systems to create exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and service components on luxury vans, including cabinetry, seating, flooring, lighting, accessories, and vehicle systems. Perform electrical, wiring, and troubleshooting work on 12V, 110V, solar, battery, inverter, and control systems. Install and service plumbing, HVAC, entertainment, and other vehicle systems. Read and interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and installation instructions. Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Document installation and service details while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Provide excellent internal and external customer service and collaborate effectively with team members. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Previous experience working on luxury vans, RVs, marine, automotive, or custom vehicle builds preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in electrical, plumbing, fabrication, cabinetry, or vehicle accessory installation. Ability to read and understand technical documents, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a team. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Certificates and Licenses:
May put you ahead of other candidates. Reliable ability to commute to Forest Lake, MN for in-person work.
