LEHR is seeking someone with a strong work ethic and detail-oriented to join our Pittsburg team as a Vehicle Upfit Installer.
Responsibilities:
Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems Learn to perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace Organize tools and inventory Ability to track hours/job progress
Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience Experience using hand tools and power tools 12V experience and/or knowledge, a plus Ability to read blueprints and schematics, a plus Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles Strong work ethic Eagerness to learn and grow Ability to work independently and on a team Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or
GED Benefits:
Full-Time/non-exempt $20
•24 per hour, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career growth opportunities
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 6:00 AM
•2:30 PM
•some overtime required No weekends
