Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Car Audio/12V Installer and bring cutting-edge sound and multimedia experiences to drivers everywhere! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and customizing car audio systems, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Duties Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot car audio systems including speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, and multimedia units using schematics and wiring diagrams. Interpret automotive electrical systems and wiring diagrams to ensure seamless integration with existing vehicle electronics. Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic tools to perform precise installations and repairs on various vehicle makes and models. Conduct system testing to verify functionality of audio components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other vehicle electronics post-installation. Collaborate with customers to understand their preferences, explain technical details clearly, and provide outstanding service throughout the installation process. Diagnose issues related to vehicle electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, or diesel engines when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all installation procedures. Experience Prior dealership or service technician experience working with automotive electrical systems and vehicle diagnostics. Familiarity with schematics, automotive wiring diagrams interpretation, and automotive repair procedures. Hands-on experience with automotive wiring harnesses, power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of vehicle Lighting systems including interior and exterior lighting. Customized Lighting Jobs often performed. Some mechanical knowledge combined with strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
