Job Description

Job Purpose:
Assist Sales Associates by ensuring new/used vehicles sold to customers are clean and ready for delivery
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Verify receipt of and perform a damage inspection on new vehicles delivered to the dealership Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice Park vehicles in the new and used lots in an orderly manner Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior including windows and door jams Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation Fill vehicles with fuel as needed Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times Ensure proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's window. Remove all window stickers on sold vehicles Report any safety issues immediately to management Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection Keep work area neat and clean Move sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order Service vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration Conform to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances Other duties as assigned by management
Job Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and a good driving record required High school diploma or the equivalent Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information General mechanical skills helpful Good Judgment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
