This position is for someone who already knows the trade and can confidently perform automotive glass removal and installation with minimal supervision. This is not an entry-level or training position. A minimum of 2 years of professional auto glass experience is required. What You'll Do Remove and install windshields, back glass, door glass, quarter glass, and other automotive glass Properly prepare vehicles and glass for installation Perform installations using proper adhesives, tools, and procedures Inspect completed work for proper fit, sealing, and overall quality Complete assigned jobs accurately and within scheduled timeframes Perform work in both shop and mobile environments as needed Protect customer vehicles throughout the repair process Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate professionally with customers and team members Follow company safety and quality standards What We're Looking For 2+ years of professional auto glass technician experience required Collision repair or body shop experience preferred Strong knowledge of automotive glass removal and installation procedures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule Strong attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing job assignments and schedules Professional attitude and strong customer service skills Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, and reach throughout the workday Work overhead and below shoulder level Safely grip, carry, position, and maneuver automotive glass Work in confined or tight spaces when necessary Perform repetitive hand, arm, and upper-body movements associated with glass installation Work indoors and outdoors depending on the assignment
