This role offers the opportunity to oversee all aspects of auto glass repair, replacement, and installation while ensuring top-tier customer service and operational efficiency. As a key leader in our service center, you will utilize your extensive mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver outstanding results that keep vehicles safe and looking their best. Your passion for automotive repair and glass technology will drive success in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the auto glass department, ensuring high-quality installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass components. Perform manual glass cutting, fitting, and installation with precision to meet manufacturer specifications. Manage auto glass inventory, handle glass materials safely, and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment. Utilize advanced knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to calibrate and ensure proper functioning after glass replacements. Operate power tools and hand tools safely while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols such as power tool safety and heavy lifting procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining services clearly, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Oversee vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto body repair and automotive repair procedures when necessary. Train team members on proper fitting techniques, glass installation methods, and use of specialized equipment. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations during all operations. Support vehicle operation within the company fleet for transportation needs related to service tasks or parts procurement. Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive service experience with a strong background in auto glass repair or replacement. Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures following windshield or glass replacements. Skilled in manual glass cutting, fitting, window tinting, detailing, and auto estimating processes. Experience handling glass materials safely and efficiently while managing heavy lifting requirements. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including auto body work and vehicle maintenance fundamentals. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and adhere to safety standards during all tasks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and work documentation.
