Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Windshield Repair and Installation Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, quality, and appearance of our customers' vehicles. This energetic position involves repairing and replacing automotive glass with precision and care, utilizing your mechanical expertise and customer service skills. You'll work with a variety of glass materials and tools, contribute to vehicle maintenance, and help deliver a seamless experience for every customer. Duties Perform windshield repairs using specialized auto glass repair techniques to restore vehicle safety and appearance Remove damaged or broken auto glass with manual cutting tools, ensuring precise fitting for replacement Install new windshields and automotive glass using proper fitting procedures, adhesives, and power tools Handle glass materials safely, including heavy lifting and proper storage to prevent damage or injury Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional repair needs such as auto body or mechanical issues Operate company vehicles to reach customer locations efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing damage and providing accurate repair estimates for customers Maintain detailed records of repairs, installations, and materials used for each vehicle Skills Proven dealership experience or background in automotive glass repair and installation Strong knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) calibration post-installation or repair Skilled in manual glass cutting, fitting glass installation, and auto glass replacement techniques Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and automotive systems Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and power tool safety standards during installation or repair tasks Experience handling glass materials safely and efficiently within an automotive environment Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while maintaining a clean driving record Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Familiarity with auto estimating software and procedures for damage assessment Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with attention to detail during assembly and installation processes Knowledge of window tinting, detailing, and auto repair best practices is a plus This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive glass repair while contributing directly to customer safety. Pay:
