Carsten Auto Glass & Kryger Glass currently has an open position for an Auto Glass Technician within our Springfield market. This is a full time hourly position that will include a benefits package and paid leave. Hours would be M-F, 8 am - 5 pm. Pay is variable and depends on experience. If you have experience in the auto industry, but not in glass, we are willing to train. Carsten Auto Glass & Kryger Glass is an auto glass installation and distribution company with locations in five states. Essential duties & responsibilities include: Auto glass repair and replacement; in-shop and mobile Mechanical vehicle repairs relating to auto glass Provide Customer Service and support to other glass technicians Recalibration To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Technical skills Problem solving Customer service skills Dependability Qualifications include: Must hold and sustain a valid driver's license and be insurable by company standards Must be able to pass criminal background screening by company standards and applicable law Must have general knowledge of automotive mechanics Must regularly lift and/or move in an outreached position up to 80 pounds Expected hours: 40 per week
