Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Raleigh, NC for an Automotive Glass Technician. The Automotive Glass Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing auto glass in vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include assessing glass damage, removing broken or cracked glass, cleaning and preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate glass, and ensuring proper sealing and installation. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills. Duties Remove and replace auto glass using manual cutting tools, power tools, and specialized assembly techniques Perform automotive glass repairs, including windshield chip fixes and crack repairs, adhering to industry standards Install advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) calibration following glass replacement to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fitting, and handling heavy or fragile components with care Operate company vehicles for on-site service calls and transport of glass materials and tools Maintain detailed records of work performed, including auto estimating documentation and service reports Experience Proven dealership experience or background working in automotive repair shops is highly preferred Hands-on experience with automotive glass installation, repair, and fitting techniques Familiarity with ADAS systems calibration and auto estimating software is advantageous Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and general automotive repair processes Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively Experience with window tinting, detailing, or other automotive customization services is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in automotive glass services!
