Responsibilities Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using specialized hand tools and power tools, ensuring vehicle integrity is maintained. Install new auto glass with precision, fitting each piece securely while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles' glass components, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration when necessary, to ensure proper functionality. Handle glass materials carefully during storage, transportation, and installation to prevent damage or injury. Perform automotive glass repairs such as chip filling or crack sealing to restore vehicle safety and appearance. Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site jobs or mobile service appointments, maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols. Assist with related tasks like auto body repair, window tinting, detailing, and minor vehicle maintenance as needed to support overall service quality. Requirements Proven dealership experience or hands-on work in automotive glass replacement or repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in auto body repair, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Experience working with ADAS systems calibration and auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to perform manual glass cutting accurately when custom fitting is required. Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed work in various environmental conditions. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive repair processes enhances your effectiveness on the job. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude to ensure customer satisfaction throughout every interaction.
