Job Description
Automotive Window Tint Installer Glacier Window Tinting is looking for an experienced Automotive Window Tint Installer to join our team. This position is primarily focused on professionally installing automotive window film on a wide variety of vehicles while maintaining the high-quality workmanship our customers expect. The ideal candidate has hands-on tint installation experience, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering clean, consistent work. Experience installing paint protection film is a plus, but window tinting will be the main responsibility of this position. Responsibilities Professionally install automotive window film on cars, trucks, SUVs, and specialty vehicles. Complete installations with clean edges and minimal contamination, creases, light gaps, or other imperfections. Properly prepare, clean, shrink, cut, and install window film. Safely remove old or damaged window tint when needed. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards before the vehicle is returned to the customer. Protect customer vehicles from damage and keep vehicle interiors clean throughout the installation process. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Properly care for installation tools, equipment, and materials. Assist with paint protection film installations when needed, depending on experience. Communicate with management regarding vehicle concerns, installation challenges, or potential damage before beginning work. Work efficiently while maintaining quality in a fast-paced, appointment-based shop. Follow all company procedures and safety standards. Qualifications Previous professional automotive window tinting experience is strongly preferred. Ability to hand-cut and heat-shrink automotive window film. Knowledge of proper film preparation, installation, and removal techniques. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and able to complete assigned work on schedule. Comfortable working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work inside vehicles for extended periods. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Paint protection film experience is a plus but is not required.
