Help Us Build the Auto Glass Company Utah Doesn't Have Yet You'll Have the Opportunity to Grow Quickly Here! Both Financially and in Responsibility/Skills. Full-Time | Growth Opportunities | Small, Friendly Team | Company Vehicle Chip Pro Autoglass
  • Provo, UT Base $18/hr + tips and bonuses. Most trained techs reach $20
  • 22+/hr ($3,200
  • 3,800/month).
Your First Big Career Move:
Join Chip Pro Early Chip Pro Autoglass fixes windshields, but that's really just the entry point. We're a young company with a plan to become the auto glass brand Utah trusts and recommends, and we're looking for the handful of people who want to help build that from the beginning. If you join us now, you'll be one of the first people on the team, at a point where the way you show up genuinely shapes how this company turns out. That's rare, and it's not for everyone, but if that opportunity sounds interesting to you, keep reading. You don't need any car or glass experience to start. What matters more is that you're coachable, you take pride in your work, and you actually want to grow in skill and responsibility. Have experience with Safelite, Glass Doctor, or another auto glass company? Great, please apply! But plenty of our best people started knowing nothing about windshields. How You'll Start (And Where You Can Go) Everyone starts in the field, learning the craft. It's how you earn a real voice in how we build this team. From there, the path is genuinely open: Phase 1: Technician Learn the trade. Most shops won't even attempt long-crack repairs, we'll train you to do it, and you'll walk away with a skill you keep for life. Complete training, pass your skills check, start earning tips and bonuses. Phase 2: Senior / Lead Technician (typically 6+ months in) Once you've built a track record (100+ five-star reviews, a low callback rate, consistent quality) you move into a trusted role: training new hires, helping set the standard for how Chip Pro operates, and higher pay. Phase 3: Leadership & Operations As we add vehicles and grow the team, we'll need people to help run the show: training, market expansion, operations. The people doing great work today are the people we want running this company tomorrow. We're small right now, which means the people who join early get to help set the culture and the standards everyone after them will follow. Pay & Schedule Training Period (first 4-6 weeks) $16/hr, full-time, W-2 Paid ride-alongs and hands-on training Certified Technician (after passing skills check) $18/hr base, 40 hours/week Tips are 100% yours; current full-time techs typically average $125
  • 250/month in tips $5 bonus for every 5-star Google review from a customer you serviced and $20 for every 10th review you receive (most ramped techs earn 3-6 reviews/week) Bonuses/commissions for self-generated business through simple, taught referral and neighborhood outreach Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Start and end times may vary due to repair length and daily schedule variability.
) Based in Provo, UT Routes primarily in Utah County, Wasatch County, and Salt Lake County What You'll Actually Be Doing Driving a Chip Pro truck to scheduled appointments at customers' homes and workplaces Inspecting and repairing rock chips and long cracks using our tools and process Explaining repairs to customers in simple, professional language Taking before-and-after photos and closing out jobs on your phone Keeping your vehicle, tools, and materials clean, organized and safe Occasionally helping generate new business through simple door-hanger drops and intro conversations in neighborhoods we're already working. We'll teach you exactly what to say. Delivering the kind of service that earns 5-star reviews and builds real trust Why This Beats a Typical Repair Job Every job you complete and every review you earn is a brick in a company you'll actually have a say in as it grows. Have other skills you want to bring to the team? We'd love to find ways to help you develop those and grow the business! Once trained, you run your own route in your own company vehicle. You'll always know exactly how you're doing through clear, honest performance standards. We're still small enough that decisions get made by people you'll actually talk to, and the standards we hold ourselves to are ones we set together, not ones handed down from a corporate office three states away. How We Operate We care more about doing it right than doing it fast We're honest with customers, even when it costs us We keep our vans, tools, and work clean and professional We hold clear, high standards, give direct feedback, and promote people who earn it We're a small team that takes the work seriously and doesn't bring drama to the job
You'll Likely Thrive Here If You:
Want to help build something from the ground up, not just clock in Like hands-on, detail-oriented work and are willing to learn a new skill Care about doing things right, even when it's harder Are friendly and professional without being fake or pushy Show up on time and don't need to be chased (early = on time) Can take coaching without getting defensive or resentful and keep getting better Want real growth potential without having to go start something entirely on your own This Isn't the
Right Fit If:
"Good enough" is your standard You tend to bounce from job to job You struggle with consistency or reliability You can't pass a drug screening, background check, or MVR You want to be micromanaged rather than own your route You'd rather build your own thing solo than build something as part of a team You're here to for training to start your own thing Requirements Valid driver's license Clean driving record (MVR check required) Reliable personal transportation during training Able to work outdoors in Utah weather (hot summers and cold winters) Able to lift up to 50 lbs English required; Spanish is a plus Full-time only | In-person | Provo, UT 84606 LINK
