Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of automotive glass, ensuring that all work meets safety standards and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience with auto glass installation, but willing to train the right person. Duties Install and replace automotive glass in various vehicles, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows. Utilize power tools and equipment to perform installations efficiently and safely. Conduct detailed inspections of glass components to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards. Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for glass installation. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to auto glass repair and installation. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or related fields. Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation. Experience in auto estimating for glass replacement services is preferred. Previous experience in glass installation is highly desirable. Knowledge of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
