Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, electrical, and transmission components. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension with precision and attention to detail. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively. Conduct vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs and adjustments on diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles when applicable. Diagnose complex issues related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other modern automotive technologies. Maintain accurate service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed and performed. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong foundation in automotive diagnostics and repair. Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and understanding vehicle electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and advanced diagnostic procedures for various vehicle makes and models. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, and vehicle suspension system repair. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and other automotive service tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Familiarity with auto estimating software and dealership maintenance protocols is a plus. $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
