Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether working on gas or diesel engines, transmissions, or electrical systems, your skills will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably. This is a Flat Rate Position Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission components. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to conduct repairs with precision and safety. Conduct vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and system inspections to uphold manufacturer standards. Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical problems effectively. Repair advanced systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform vehicle transmission system repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Deep mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in working on GM vehicles or similar makes. Skilled in the use of automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, and automotive electrical systems troubleshooting. Experience with vehicle suspension system repair, wheel alignment procedures, and vehicle transmission system repair. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment while maintaining safety standards. Strong understanding of automotive wiring diagrams, electrical systems, and powertrain components. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Knowledge of service estimating processes and maintenance scheduling to ensure timely repairs. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
