Apply online or in person at 904 30th St N, Birmingham, Al 35203 Mechanic Responsibilities and Duties Job duties include but not limited: various hand tools, air tools , electric tools, various shop equipment, welding, various cutting equipment, some heavy lifting, working from heights, electrical repair, hydraulic repair, collision repair of all box trucks & trailers, disassemble/reassemble box trucks & trailers, paint & body repairs, moving semi-trailers and box trucks around yard, carpentry work, fabrication, lift-gate repair and much more! Job requires bending, twisting, lifting up to 80lbs, climbing, and physical labor. Job requires working in hot and cold weather. Mechanic Qualifications and Skills No experience required but a plus. Candidates must be able to pass drug test, physical and background check. Must have a valid driver license and dependable transportation. Must be able to work full shift. 7:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M. Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays. Must be self motivated and willing to learn. Carpentry experience is a plus Welding and fabricating is a plus Hands on experience is a plus Candidates must be self motivated, detail oriented, willing to learn and eager to complete task given Mechanic Benefits Blue cross blue shield medical and dental insurance.(Single is paid and Family is only 50.00 dollars a week!)
