Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly and accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and auto body components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Repair or replace critical components like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, auto electrical systems, and welding repairs as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures to ensure precise work on complex automotive systems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments. Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, transmission overhaul, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, auto estimating software, and heavy equipment mechanics is a plus. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement. Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation.
