Responsibilities Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, arriving prepared with the necessary tools and parts to diagnose and repair vehicles on-site Perform a wide range of repairs including engine diagnostics, diesel engine repairs, vehicle maintenance, and auto body fixes Utilize automotive schematics, electrical systems knowledge, and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) expertise to troubleshoot complex issues Conduct wheel alignments, powertrain repairs, and vehicle electrical system diagnostics to ensure optimal vehicle performance Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively during repairs Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and explain maintenance procedures professionally Maintain detailed records of service performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each job Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics Dealership experience is highly desirable for familiarity with brand-specific systems such as GM vehicles Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading, and ADAS technology is preferred Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and vehicle maintenance techniques Familiarity with automotive service standards including alignment and powertrain work Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure positive customer interactions Ability to work independently in outdoor conditions while maintaining safety standards This energetic role offers a rewarding career path for skilled technicians eager to deliver top-tier roadside assistance while honing their automotive expertise.
