Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide them with a positive experience
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
• Schedule appointments and communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
• Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Explain repair recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner
• Process payments and handle cash transactions
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and customer interactions

Skills:

• Strong mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues
• Proficiency in performing oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, shocks/struts replacements, and other mechanical tasks
• Ability to align and transmit customer concerns to technicians effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
