Job Description

Job Overview As a Mobile Automotive Service Technician, your mechanical expertise and passion for vehicle repair will drive exceptional customer service and vehicle performance. In this role, you will perform comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs directly at our customers' locations, ensuring their vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your technical proficiency and hands-on skills will be vital in delivering top-tier automotive service while providing a convenient, mobile experience that sets us apart in the industry. Duties Conduct basic minor diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues. Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles such as engine tune-ups, transmission system repairs, vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and electrical wiring diagram interpretation. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot complex automotive problems. Repair or replace vehicle components including power tools-assisted repairs on engines, transmissions, axles, and vehicle suspension systems. Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timeframes, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed service records and complete auto estimating documentation for each job performed. Experience Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and interpreting vehicle electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle electrical systems. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and other repair equipment effectively. Prior experience working with GM and Ford vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
