Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealership settings, automotive repair, and diagnostics, with a strong mechanical background. This role involves performing vehicle maintenance and repairs, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the safety and functionality of our clients' vehicles. The Service Technician will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and vehicle inspections Perform diagnostic testing to identify mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools Repair and replace vehicle components using hand tools and power tools Assist with vehicle repairs including brake work, suspension, engine diagnostics, and other mechanical repairs Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Support sales efforts by recommending additional services or repairs when appropriate Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks Requirements Previous dealership experience or automotive service background preferred Proven mechanic experience with knowledge of automotive repair procedures Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Experience performing oil changes, alignments, tire services, and general vehicle maintenance Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred Mechanical knowledge combined with a commitment to quality workmanship is essential This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where your skills are valued.
