RESPONSIBILITIESDrive a light vehicle, such as a truck or van, to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packagesCarefully load and unload the vehiclePlan the most efficient routes to ensure delivery is on timeBefore departure, inspect the truck and trailer to ensure equipment functionality and safetyManage inventory of loadsDocument the condition of freight before starting the tripSecure freight in place and routinely check on itRegularly perform maintenance duties including adding fuel, changing oil, checking radiator fluid, etc.

Obtain the client's signature on deliveryComplete service checks on tire pressure, oil, fluid levels, and minor repairsMaintain accurate trip logsObey traffic lawsComply with health and safety regulations and wear protective gear

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
