Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul mechanical systems such as engines (including diesel), transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering components. Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Work with automotive service protocols for auto body repairs and auto estimating to deliver complete vehicle solutions. Follow dealership or industry standards for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and air brake systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers about vehicle conditions and recommended services. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry. Extensive knowledge of automotive mechanical systems including diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and using diagnostic software for automotive diagnostics. Hands-on experience with automotive suspension system repair, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement. Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics and auto body repair is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Certification or training in ADAS calibration or diesel mechanics is advantageous but not required.
