Christian Brothers Automotive in Meridianville is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. You'll handle brakes, engines, suspension, electrical systems, and preventive services using modern tools and equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, and suspension issues on a variety of vehicles Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and inspections Use diagnostic tools and service information systems to accurately identify vehicle concerns Document findings, recommended repairs, and parts needed on repair orders with clarity and accuracy Follow Christian Brothers Automotive standards for honest recommendations and transparent communication Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while adhering to all safety procedures Collaborate with service advisors and teammates to ensure timely, high-quality repairs Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology and best practices Required Skills Automotive diagnostics Brake repair and service Engine repair and maintenance Suspension and steering repair Electrical systems troubleshooting Use of OBD-II scan tools Preventive maintenance services Service writing/repair order documentation Safety and compliance procedures Customer communication
