Job DescriptionA successful Trailer Technician must maintain excellent customer service while providing quality and efficient repairs on Class 8 Tractor and Trailers. PS Logistics is searching for a high level of integrity, driven, qualified, and experienced Technician that wants to grow their careers and lead our company to be the best service provider in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Value our customers with a high standard of excellence in quality & efficient repairs as well as excellent customer serviceDiagnose, repair & maintain commercial trailers by analyzing diagnostic test results (computerized, sound, visual, feel, smell, etc.)Perform Federal DOT inspections as well as preventative maintenancePerform light duty repairsMaintain company owned toolsMaintain company owned service trucksParticipate in company paid training & continuing education of OEM spec changes

QualificationsSkill Level:

Advanced LevelPrimary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of trailers. Valid state driver's license / US work authorizationDependable, organized & self-motivated(Preferred, not required) A CDL, clear of violations/accidents & provide current DOT medical certificateMinimum 1yr experience as a trailer technician diagnosing, repairing (brakes, tires, lights and DOT Inspections), and maintaining commercial trailers.

Excellent communication skillsMust provide and maintain personal tools and storage boxesAdvanced Aluminum welding & fabrication, replacement of structural components, suspension components, electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
