Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician to join our dynamic service team. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on RV electrical systems, engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, HVAC systems, and plumbing to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various RV components including electrical wiring, plumbing systems, shocks & struts, tires, and heavy equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly, welding, soldering, and mechanical repairs with precision and safety. Execute routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and brake repairs to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot basic vehicle problems using automotive diagnostics techniques and repair or replace faulty parts accordingly. Repair specialized RV systems including plumbing, HVAC units, electrical systems, and diesel engines while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven experience as a dealership or service technician with a strong background in automotive or RV repair. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems including RV electrical system diagnostics and automotive electrical repairs. Hands-on experience with mechanical repairs such as engine work, transmissions, shocks & struts, suspension systems, and brake repair. Familiarity with plumbing system maintenance and repair specific to RVs as well as HVAC troubleshooting skills. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons and heavy lifting safely and effectively. Strong diagnostic skills utilizing automotive diagnostics tools; experience with automotive repair is highly preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid certifications or experience in dealership environments; familiarity with automotive body repair is a plus.
