Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance. Repair and replace vehicle suspension systems, alignments, electrical systems, and wiring diagrams interpretation to restore vehicle safety and functionality. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues across different vehicle models, including GM vehicles. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed, including auto estimating procedures and service reports for transparency and quality assurance. Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, providing recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance, powertrain systems, transmissions, vehicle suspension system repair, and automotive electrical systems. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, and automotive wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, wheel alignments, and vehicle systems troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
