Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and suspension checks to keep vehicles operating at peak performance. Utilize schematics and diagnostic software to identify issues accurately and efficiently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems. Repair or replace components such as shocks & struts, air brakes, powertrain elements, and auto body parts with precision and attention to detail. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on dealership or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, electrical systems, and ADAS technology. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for precise diagnostics and repairs. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair machinery safely and effectively. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid certification or licensing relevant to automotive mechanics; ASE certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Must have all tools required to accomplish the work.
