Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Repair and replace components related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body work, and auto estimating as needed. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems on GM vehicles and other makes. Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and communicate effectively with customers about necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership settings preferred. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, transmission repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, auto body repair processes, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is a plus for working on larger vehicles or specialized equipment. Demonstrated ability to work with schematics, vehicle manuals, and technical diagrams accurately. Strong customer service skills combined with mechanical expertise to deliver exceptional service experiences. Prior experience working with tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair, and suspension system repair is advantageous.
