Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role offers an excellent opportunity for technicians with dealership experience or those familiar with advanced systems such as ADAS and automotive electrical systems to apply their expertise in a dynamic environment. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Candidates with experience working on NISSAN vehicles, diesel engines, transmissions, and alignment services are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and automotive diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools efficiently and safely. Service vehicle components such as alignments, wheel balancing, brake systems, and suspension to ensure optimal performance. Repair or replace vehicle parts including engines, transmissions, electrical components, and mechanical systems. Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures. Document all work performed accurately for service records and auto estimating purposes. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic; dealership experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance including powertrain repairs, alignment services, diesel engine repair, and transmission work. Familiarity with NISSAN vehicles is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other automotive service tools. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
