Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and other precision services to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems with confidence. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs with precision. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations to enhance vehicle longevity. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrains, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and alignment techniques for modern vehicles. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is advantageous.
